Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business (Leadership & Management)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Fleet Manager in Australia

Duties

  • Consulting with clients to identify their transport requirements and providing guidance on suitable vehicle options, purchase or hire costs, contractual obligations and service conditions.
  • Managing customer enquiries, resolving complaints and maintaining a high standard of client service.
  • Receiving transport orders and bookings, preparing schedules and coordinating daily transportation activities.
  • Ensuring that goods are stored, handled and transported under appropriate conditions to preserve their quality and prevent damage.
  • Organising the timely collection and delivery of vehicles, equipment and goods.
  • Maintaining accurate business and operational records and preparing reports, statements and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinating activities relating to the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains and transported goods.
  • Monitoring workplace practices to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and relevant regulations.
