We are seeking an experienced Transport Company Manager to oversee daily operations, coordinate transport activities and contribute to the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance and efficient use of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel resources.
- Work closely with clients to understand their transportation requirements and provide advice on suitable vehicles, pricing and contractual arrangements.
- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate incoming transport orders and bookings and develop efficient transportation schedules.
- Monitor transport operations to ensure the timely and safe collection and delivery of vehicles, goods and merchandise.
- Ensure appropriate storage and transportation conditions are maintained to protect the quality and condition of goods.
- Maintain accurate business and operational records, prepare statements and compile regular performance reports.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities and ensure transport operations are carried out efficiently.
- Monitor daily transport activities and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure all transport operations comply with relevant occupational health and safety, workplace and transport regulations.
- Supervise and support staff involved in transport and logistics operations.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective transport services.
- Assist with planning and implementing operational strategies to support business growth and improve overall performance.
Qualification
- AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Transport, Logistics, Business Management or a related field, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Relevant experience in transport, logistics or fleet management will be highly regarded.
